another day clean

Even after 14 years clean. There are days that I am so happy to be clean. I only hope that I can get enough concerned people to help us get our rehab off the ground.

Never Alone

Never Alone That is what I was told when I came into the rooms of NA. Today it could not be more true everyone that I talk to says the same thing "that is what is needed and how can I help" But the spoken word can only reach the people that are within hearing range. Thus this blog. If you read it please pass it on.

Calling out

I am calling out to all people that are willing to help in building this center. I am searching for people that want to give back or give forward. If you feel that you want to be involved please e-mail me john@webtivitydesigns.com. We will be creating a 504c so that if you want to send funds they will be tax deductible. But more than money we need you. And what you can bring to the table.
The latest push to begin my quest was that my daughter, she to has the disease of addition and has been and out of rehabs. I did an extensive search for a long term vocational rehab and unless I have tens of thousands of dollars. There is nothing available. This is not what this country should be about. She is not a rock star or from a family that is wealthy just working class and has no insurance. Jail is not the answer.

Finding Recovery with the help of all

Clean for nearly 15 years. My goals have have crossed paths. Having been successful in business and in recovery. Although relapse was a reality. I meet my wonderful wife in the rooms of N.A. seven years ago. We have just returned from a trip to Arkansas looking at property for ourselves and began discussing the dilemma that addicts have finding a rehab that they can go to regardless of their ability to pay. More than a clinical place to get clean. We decided working farm and vocational center for training would be the right place. So that the person that is getting clean and finding a new way of life will have some real life skills so that they can become a productive member of their community. To many times a person needs to change everything around them. A career change is something that can happen and sometimes must happen. Remember give an addict a rut and they will furnish it. That is what we are building on. This is not some lofty dream. We are taking steps to make this a reality. stay tuned
